Biography

Sophia Cross is a proudly neurodivergent Filipino author, entrepreneur, and mental health advocate whose work is defined by radical honesty, emotional depth, and a bold commitment to breaking stigma—especially around ADHD, bipolar disorder, and trauma. Diagnosed with ADHD later in life, Sophia brings the clarity of lived experience to every page, transforming chaos into creativity and struggle into strength.

With a Bachelor of Arts in English, Sophia has published three acclaimed books:

  • The Girl Who Danced with Demons: Whispers From the Void (a raw, unflinching memoir of childhood trauma and survival),
  • Perfectly Unstable: A Bipolar’s Guide to Turning Chaos into Creativity (a witty, brutally honest look at entrepreneurship and mental health), and
  • Confessions of a Luxury Authenticator (her unique journey through the world of high-end fashion and neurodivergent hyperfocus).

Sophia’s author brand is built on authenticity, courage, and the rare ability to translate complex emotional realities into stories that are both accessible and deeply moving. Her writing is known for its clarity, vulnerability, and humor—inviting readers into a space of genuine connection and understanding. Whether recounting her journey through bipolar disorder and ADHD, or sharing the hard-won lessons of entrepreneurship, Sophia’s voice is unmistakable: compassionate, insightful, and deeply rooted in her Filipino heritage and values.

Beyond her literary achievements, Sophia is a successful digital marketer and luxury authenticator. She has founded and managed multiple ventures, guided teams through both triumph and adversity, and demonstrated that neurodivergent minds—especially those with ADHD—can be powerful forces for innovation and change. Her professional journey is a testament to adaptability, resourcefulness, and the belief that setbacks can be transformed into new beginnings..

Sophia lives in Taguig, Metro Manila, with her husband and their two teenage children. She welcomes readers to connect, share their stories, or seek advice at sophia.cross.author@gmail.com.
